A BCBA is a professional who has been certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and licensed by the MS Autism Board to practice Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). BCBAs are trained to assess, design, implement, and evaluate behavioral interventions based on the principles of ABA. 

A Registered Behavior Technician is a paraprofessional who is trained to provide direct support and implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBTs play a vital role in delivering behavioral interventions and support to individuals with autism and other developmental or behavioral challenges.
